Wyvern is the second Titan fight against which Sonic will have to try his temper. He is also the first totally airborne boss, which means that things work a little different from how they did before. If you want to get some tips on how to defeat Wyvern at Sonic Frontiers no, look for more.
Sonic Frontiers Wyvern Boss Fight explained
Platform phase
Like Giant before, the encounter with Wyvern also requires Sonic to reach the emerald of chaos in the head of the titan before the battle can start seriously. If you want things to start as quickly as possible, all you have to do is address the tower in the distance and start your ascent.

However, if you are looking to catch some more rings before moving on to Super Sonic, there is a brief section of platforms that can be found in the water to the left of the tower. In the end there is a platform with 110 rings.
Regardless of whether this lateral path takes or not, you will still have to ascend to the tower at the other end of the sand. Be sure to be attentive to alternative roads so that the trip is much faster.
Once you have reached the top of the tower, all that remains is to stand on the metal platform to the north and wait for Wyvern to fly. Once it is close enough, a white triangle will appear, indicating that you can send an attack directed towards him, which will immediately reproduce a scene and take you to the next part of the platform phase.

This segment sees Sonic running along a digital red road that follows Wyvern's movements. As there is no way to accelerate this section, it is simply a matter of following the path and increasing the frequency with the greatest possible frequency. The two things you should consider are that the road ends abruptly and the projectiles that Wyvern will shoot to tear you down.
The first can be treated by attacking the rotating red lasers that lead to the rest of the road, while the second can be eluded similarly to the Squid Guardian fight on the island of Kronor. The projectiles can quietly approach you, so if you hear that Wyvern shoots them, be sure to prepare to change lane to avoid them.

Once you get to the end of the road, Sonic will automatically launch on Wyvern's back, leaving the emerald of chaos ready to drink.
stage one (100% HP)
From the beginning, it will be clear that Wyvern's fight works differently from Giant's with respect to Super Sonic's movement. Most are largely automated, with Sonic maintaining the rhythm of the titan while continuously flies around the sand. This means that your main approach in this fight will be to monitor the various attacks that Wyvern will launch you.
Shortly after the fight begins, Wyvern will launch a missile barrage towards Sonic. Once you see them, all you need is to hold the stop buttons to divert one towards Wyvern. When the missile reaches its goal, Sonic will rush towards Wyvern's head.

At this point, the boss will perform a winding animation that ends with his claw raised above himself. The solution to this is the same: keep your stop. Once the attack is connected, Wyvern will be sent by turning. This is your signal to do as much damage as possible.
As with Giant before, the most important aspect of inflicting great damage to the boss is to prioritize the use of the greatest possible amount of skills that Sonic obtained from the skill tree instead of the normal attack combo. If you can activate Phantom Rush (easier with the Sonic Boom ability), the additional damage will be useful to move on to the next phase.

However, it is vitally important to stay alert, since Wyvern will rise once again while inflicting damage (in the image above). As soon as you see this, react with another stop and a button will appear that will allow Sonic to inflict great damage through a scene.
After this point, the first phase is repeated until you reduce Wyvern's HP in half, so consider the above and go to the next section when the scene is reproduced.
Stage two (50% HP)
Wyvern's second phase begins with the titan by launching laser rings from his back, but these are essentially insignificant in regard to the fight itself. In a similar note, your game plan for this phase is, again, to return the Wyvern missile releases.
This time, however, Wyvern will attack twice in rapid succession after Sonic approaches his head, one for each claw. You will have to stop both things successfully attack to expose Wyvern to the damage, but the same strategies of the previous phase will guide you in the right direction.

With about 25% of HP, a scene will be reproduced that shows Wyvern bending in a circle and firing even more missiles to the blue blur. This precedes a fast time event that will require a button when the white line is inside the red circle, similar to the fishing mini-game.
From now on, you have seen all the surprises that the Wyvern fight will hold. As you inflate damage, it will be regularly rolled and require that you stop your attacks. Once only one splinter is left, Sonic will have to enter another timed ATE, be successful in a sequence of buttons and then enter a final Ate to dispatch the Titan forever.
