Call of Duty: War zone 2.0 was launched on November 16 inaugurating along the 1 --Modern Warfare 2-2-, inging the classic Battle Royale, but on Al March's new map, as well as the DMZ mode in which players should use a lot of strategy. However, part of the FPS community is wondering: What about resurgence? The news is that enthusiasts of this type of sport will have to wait a little...
War zone 2.0 will have no resurgence in release
When the first War zone was launched in March 2020, Battle Royale appeared only in one way: the classic where the last to stand. It was just a few months after the developers decided to expand the game modes, with the withdrawal and also the resurgence with the Map of Rebirth Island (formerly Fortune's Keep).
From what we know about the release of War zone 2.0, and especially for the words of the developers, Infinity Ward's Battle Royale will not offer a resurgence of release. However, for fans of the smaller Battle Royale maps, expect some exciting developments in War zone 2.0 in the coming seasons.
Therefore, this means that in the future, and certainly during the year 2023, we will certainly receive one or more small maps, in which we can play the resurgence mode, which is currently one of the favorite modes of a portion of the players.
What is the resurgence mode?
If you are not familiar with what the resurgence mode is, it is not a classic Battle Royale, but a variant. Here, the map is much smaller and above all players have the possibility to resurface if their companions are still alive, which completely changes the pace of play.
However, as in a classic Battle Royale the goal is still to reach the top 1, so players must make sure not to die or at least try to stay alive no matter what happens.
Despite knowing that the resurgence will be back in War zone 2.0 in the future, it is unclear until the moment it will be playable. Will developers offer a new map or reintroduce Rebirth Island and Fortune's Keep? Only the future will tell us.
