As we have already determined in our primary article at the anniversary version of Skyrim, it was clear from the beginning that the new Skyrim-Edition mods would create. So if you get a black screen after the start of your Armored Skyrim, then you know what it is: Skyrim: Special Edition has been automatically updated on Steam with the new edition.

But: Help is on the way. Fodder Extra has been working for weeks at an anniversary update for the SSE (Skyrim Script Extender), with which most mods only work. Although the update is not quite finished yet, but the first version can be downloaded. Ultimately, a repaired SSE for the Anniversary Edition could get a whole batch on good mods back into the game.
