Live Now is the online multiplayer of Beat Saber on PSVR

The virtual reality has brought some kind of resurgence to the sofa cooperative, taking the controller around a kind of multiplayer. Especially with Beat Saber, where you and a group of friends can compete to beat the best score on some song. But what happens if your friends can not recover, especially in this pandemic era?

Beat Saber has the solution for you. Online multiplayer, like any other game system. For those on PC and Oculus Quest / Rift, the multiplayer is available since October 2020, but it can only now on PSVR. There is no particular reason specified for this one-year delay. The Beat Saber multiplayer allows up to 5 players to compete on songs available in the game. All players must have the respective DLC packs if they want to play a song DLC. Players can choose to participate in online matchmaking or create personalized matches with their friends. Developers also added some kind of badge system. For example, if your slices are really right, you will be rewarded with the price / badge the most accurate slicer .

The update also brings a new frightening song entitled Spooky Beat by Jaroslav Beck, inaugurating Halloween s spirit for all VR fans. For now, PC / Quest players can not play with PSVR players, but we hope it will change in the future. PC and Quest players can play together.
